3d Printer Cranks Out A Real Assault Rifle

Here's an interesting tech story that's relevant to today's daily
discussion. For the first time, someone has used a 3D printer
to crank out an assault rifle, piece by piece. So in the future,
you won't have to worry about closing gun show loopholes
or waiting periods you just download your guns from the
internet and print them off.

Technically, the creator of the printed assault rifle only
printed out the shell of an assault rifle. Things like the firing
mechanisms are metal pieces that have to be assembled
later, but those things can be gotten cheaply. Still though, it's
interesting to imagine a future where TV talking heads are
discussing "these kids downloading guns from the internet".
